About Crewed
Crewed is the business side of the gig. It’s a web app for freelance crew, the people who get booked by text, work the call, and then have to turn it all into an invoice, a pile of receipts and a quarterly tax payment.
You log a gig in about 30 seconds. Crewed keeps the rates, call times, miles and receipts, builds the invoice, and tells you what to set aside for taxes each quarter. When April shows up, you export everything for your accountant and go to bed.
Who it’s for
Film and TV crew, sports broadcast crew, touring and live event crew, plus hair and makeup artists, stylists, photographers and editors. If you’re paid by the day on 1099s, W-2s, or both in the same year, it’s built for you.
Who makes it
Crewed is made by Freelance Studio Ltd Co., a small Georgia company that builds tools for people who work for themselves. Our other product, Freelance Studio, is for project-based creatives. Crewed is for the people who think in day rates, call times and dates on a calendar.
How it runs
Crewed is a hosted web app at crewed.studio. There’s nothing to install and no server to look after. Sign up, log in from any browser, and add it to your phone’s home screen if you want it to act like an app.
Your data lives in Crewed’s database. Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest, and each account only sees its own records. We don’t sell your data or use it to train AI models. You can export everything from Settings any time, or ask us to delete it. The privacy policy has the details.
What it costs
One plan with everything in it: $10 a month or $100 a year. The first 14 days are free and you don’t need a card to start. If it isn’t working for you within 45 days, we’ll refund you.
